Several URIDGE, EURIDGE families emigrated to Australia. The most recent was my brother Terry who left England in May 1972, on the ship "Ellinis". Terry now lives in the suburbs of Sydney.

Other immigrants to these far off lands were (in alphabetical order):

Caroline WEBB nee URIDGE, emigrated with husband David WEBB, on the ship "Woodbridge" in 1838 to New South Wales, Australia. For more information see URIDGE-WEBB-PYE-BAXTER Families.

Emma URIDGE on the ship "Ramsey". 

Frederick James URIDGE, with his wife Harriett BRUNSDEN, on the ship "Ramsey".

George URIDGE emigrated in 1874 to Brisbane, Australia, on the ship "Nourmahal". George was the son of George Frederick URIDGE and Ann Rebecca URIDGE nee HARPER. Several of his brothers and sisters were later to immigrate.

George Thomas URIDGE, born 1833, emigrated 1860s. Detailed information and photographs are available. For more information see Families of Stephen and George URIDGE in Australia.

James URIDGE born 1856, emigrated in March 1886 on the ship "Cuzco".

Mary Ann URIDGE emigrated in 1863 on the ship "Severn". She was reported to be joining her aunt Caroline Longley BATHURST. Mary Ann later married Henry CHAPPELL in 1868. Caroline BATHURST, together with her mother Phoeby and six siblings, sailed to New Zealand in 1852 on the "Samarang". 

Sarah BAXTER nee URIDGE emigrated with husband William BAXTER, on the ship "Woodbridge" in September 1838 to New South Wales, Australia. For more information see URIDGE-WEBB-PYE-BAXTER Families.

Stephen John URIDGE, born 1830,  emigrated 1844. Detailed information and photographs are available. For more information see Families of Stephen and George URIDGE in Australia.

Thomas B. URIDGE on the ship "Ramsey".

William Edward URIDGE emigrated on the ship "Sir Henry Hardinge" in April-July 1853.
