These lists were
originally transcribed from the General
Register Office (GRO) indexes in the
early 1980s and were sometimes difficult
to read. Although all due care has
been taken. I cannot guarantee the
accuracy of this information. You
should verify the reference given
from a copy of the index before ordering
a certificate. Please notify
me of any errors that you find.
I will happily correct them.
These indexes were compiled by Stuart
and Teresa Pask, Kay Gallagher, and
J.R. Thomas. They were typed by Teresa
Pask in March, 1984, and then scanned
in June, 2002. Thanks to Bruce Keen
for the URIDGE records being included
in http://www.freebmd.org.uk.
The FreeBMD
project, is currently transcribing
the indexes to Births, Marriages and
Deaths in England and Wales for the
period 1837-1899. All the EURIDGE
and URIDGE entries have been transcribed
and included in the FreeBMD project. |
