Welcome! This information is about two brothers, Stephen John URIDGE (1830-1908) and George Thomas Uridge (1833-1916). Stephen immigrated to Australia at the time of the gold rush. Stephen John Uridge and George Thomas Uridge were brothers born into a family of five children. Their parents William and Lucy URIDGE née STANBRIDGE, lived in the Clements Danes area in London in the early part of the 19th century. 

Stephen John URIDGE was baptized in August 1830 at St. Clement Danes, London. He emigrated in 1844 to Victoria, Australia. Stephen married Drusilla Letitia TUCKER , on 31 July 1867 at The Wesleyan Church, Brunswibourne, Victoria, Australia. 

Stephen and Drusilla had four children:

1. Elizabeth Grace URIDGE   (1868)

2. Walter Stephen URIDGE   (1870-1951)

3. Fanny Ann URIDGE   (1872 - 1924)

4. Lillian Letitia URIDGE   (1874)

George URIDGE was baptized in December 1833 at St. Clement Danes, London. He married Anna GARVIN on 8 March 1860 at Ballarat, Victoria, Australia.

George and Hannah had three children:

1. Stephen URIDGE (1860-1937)

2. William URIDGE (1863 - 1863)

3. George Stanbridge URIDGE  (1865 - 1930)
