     Edward EURIDGE was born on 23 December 1877 in Walworth, London.2,3,4 He was the son of John EURIDGE and Mary Ann RAYNER.5 He was listed as a Rest23urant Waiter O Inn, aged 21 born in Walworth, a Boarder of John Tucker in the census of 31 March 1901 at 68 Marcia Road, Bermondsey, London.3,6
Edward married Ada Eliza WITTY on 9 March 1902 in St. Saviour Church, Southwark, London. He was a Bachelor aged 24, a Corn Porter residing at 57 Stanhope Buildings. His father was listed as John Euridge (deceased), a Dyer. The marriage was witnessed by Walter John CRONCHER, and Jane Woolass WITTY.7,8
In the census of 2 April 1911 at 4 Danson Road, Newington, London, Edward was listed as aged 33 born in Southwark, the Head of Household; a Mill Labourer in Coffee Husking, living with his wife Ada Eliza, and their children Ada Rebecca, Edward William, and Lena Florence. Also listed was his mother-in-law Eliza WITTY, and his neice Edith WITTY.9
On 29 September 1939, in the 1939 National Register, Edward was listed as living in Brent Hill Farm House Park Road, Hendon, Middlesex. He was born on 23 December 1877, and his occupation was a Man Servant. His wife Ada was not listed - she was living as a Housekeeper in Chelsea.4,10
Edward's death was registered in 1953 in the Willesden registration district.11

EURIDGE & Emma JACOBY.5,4 In the census of 5 April 1891 at 72 St. Peters Street, Islington, London, she was listed as Agnes BARRON, aged 19 born in Islington, the daughter of Frederick BARRON. She was in fact his step-daughter Agnes EURIDGE.6 Agnes EURIDGE In the 1891 census there seems to be some confusion - the family were all enumerated under the name of BARRON (the head of the household). In addition Agnes is stated as being single, although it is believed she was married.

     James Pettit EURIDGE was born in 1890 in Knightsbridge, London.1,2 He was the son of Alfred EURIDGE and Annie CARDEN.3 In the census of 5 April 1891 at 2a Lancelot Place, St. Margaret, Westminster, London, he was listed as aged 5 months, the son of Alfred EURIDGE.4 In the census of 31 March 1901 at 2a Lancelot Place, Westminster, London, he was listed as aged 10, born in Westminster London,the son of Alfred EURIDGE.3 James was Rifleman S/6411 of the 9th Bn; Rifle Brigade (The Prince Consort's Own) in 1915.5,6,2 James died fighting for his country on 29 July 1915 and is remembered on Panel 46-48 and 50 of Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, at Ieper, West-Viaanderen, Belgium.5,7,2
