David REES was the informant of the birth of Cornelius REES on 13 September 1859 at Friars Park, Carmarthen, Carmarthenshire.4,2,5,6 David was a General Labourer on 11 October 1859 at Friars Park, Carmarthen, Carmarthenshire.5 In the census of 7 April 1861 at 152 Dame Street, Carmarthen, Carmarthenshire, David was listed as aged 34 born in Carmarthen, the Head of Household; a general labourer, living with his wife Mary and five children, John, Harriet, Martha, Cornelius, and Thomas. Enumerated at the same address was David and Jane RICHARDS, Mary's parents and brother James.2 In the census of 7 April 1861 he was at the same address as his son-in-law David RICHARDS, but enumerated as a different household.2
David died between 1866 and 1869.1,7

THOMAS, and son-in-law Thomas QUIRK, and daughter Sarah QUIRK.1 In the census of 5 April 1891 at 43 St. Catherine Street, Carmarthen, Carmarthenshire, he was listed as an unmarried Flannel Weaver aged 34 born in St. Peters Carmarthen, the son of David THOMAS; a Carpenter, living with his wife Margaret, and son David, a Boarder [Grandson] William LEWIS, daughter Mary, and grandson Edward THOMAS.5
