In the census of 5 April 1891 at 43 St. Catherine Street, Carmarthen, Carmarthenshire, she was listed as aged 72 born in Pembroke, the wife of David THOMAS; a Carpenter, living with his wife Margaret, and son David, a Boarder [Grandson] William LEWIS, daughter Mary, and grandson Edward THOMAS.7
Her husband, David, died in 1897 in the Carmarthen registration district.8
Research Note: Had difficulty in locating her place of birth, it was spelt in several different ways. It could be Llanddewi Velfrey, in Pembrokeshire. It was also written as Llandewi Cwm.
