     Minnie Jane WELLS was baptised on 13 May 1860 at Bromley, Kent.2,3,4,5 She was the daughter of Thomas WELLS and Jane Susannah SUTTON.1
In the census of 7 April 1861 at High Street, Bromley, Kent, she was listed as the daughter of Thomas WELLS.6
In the census of 2 April 1871 at Bromley, Kent, she was listed as the daughter of Thomas WELLS.7
In the census of 3 April 1881 at 15 Widmore Road, Bromley, Kent, she was listed as the daughter of Thomas WELLS.8,9,10
Minnie married William URIDGE, son of Isaac URIDGE and Elizabeth OBBARD, in 1885 in the Bromley registration district.11
In the census of 5 April 1891 at Thorndale, Newman Road, Bromley, Kent, she was listed as the wife of William URIDGE (a Grocer, living with his wife, three daughters and son. Also living with them were three servants - Isabella SCOTT, Kate YOUNG and Blanche E. SMITH.)12
Her husband, William, died on 11 March 1895 in 3 Newman Road, Bromley, Kent.13,14
Her husband, William URIDGE's estate was probated to her on 5 April 1895 in London.14
In the census of 31 March 1901 at 5 Newman Road, Bromley, Kent, Minnie was listed as the Head of Household; a widow living with three daughters.4
Minnie's death was registered in 1946 in the Bromley registration district.15

Research Note: Minnie Jane and her sister Marion married brothers Henry and William URIDGE.
Marion and Minnie were second cousins to Herbert George WELLS (the famous author H.G. Wells). A letter dated 12 October 1917 from H.G. Wells mentioned that three daughters of Thomas Wells still lived in Bromley, two of them Uridge widows.5,16

     John URIDGE was born in 1886 in St. Lukes, London.3 He was the son of William Gurney URIDGE and Mary Ann GRAHAM.4
In the census of 5 April 1891 at Chiswell Street, St. Lukes, London, he was listed as aged 5 born in St. Lukes, the grandson of William URIDGE.5
John URIDGE was born in 1896.6,7,2,4 John was also known as Jack URIDGE.4
In the census of 31 March 1901 at Chiswell Street, St. Lukes, London, he was listed as a Commerical Clerk aged 15 born in St. Lukes, the son of William G. URIDGE.3
John married Annie May URIDGE.8
In the census of 2 April 1911 at 10 Parolles Road, Upper Holloway, Islington, London, he was listed as a Law Clerk for a Solicitor, aged 25 born in St. Lukes London, the son of Mary Ann URIDGE.9

     Constance Mary BOYES was born on 27 December 1877 in Sarisbury, Hampshire.1,2,4 She was the daughter of Stephen BOYES and Elizabeth (?)4 In the census of 3 April 1881 at Swanwick, Hampshire, she was listed as aged 3, the daughter of an unknown person ; a Blacksmith, living with his wife three sons Ernest, Harry and Frank, and daughter.4,5
Constance married George John URIDGE, son of William URIDGE and Emma Eliza TOWNSEND, in 1900 in the Fareham registration district.6,7
In the census of 31 March 1901 at 1 Nightingale Terrace, Sarisbury, Hampshire, she was listed as the wife of John George URIDGE (a Butcher, living with his wife Constance.)7
Constance Mary BOYES was named as a beneficiary in George John URIDGE's will made on 10 February 1938.8
Constance made a will dated 4 July 1966. At the time, she was living at Bines, Partridge Green, Sussex.9
Constance died on 28 March 1968 in Westford, Littleworth, Partridge Green, Sussex, at the age of 90.1,10 The 1968 Will index shows: "URIDGE Constance Mary of Westford Littleworth Partridge Green Sussex Died 28 March 1968 Administration (with Will) Lewes 6 June £1,071.1"
Her estate was probated on 6 June 1968 in Lewes, Sussex.1,9

Richard George URIDGE was born on 21 February 1900 in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa.3,4,5,6 He was the son of George James URIDGE and Ellen Elizabeth COX.7,1
In the census of 2 April 1911, he was listed as aged 11 born in Johannesburg, South Africa, an Inmate in the Bisley Farm School, Bisley, Surrey. The place had become notable as a home, since 1890, of the National Rifle Association. The school was in connexion with the National Refuges for Homeless and Destitute children, and was opened by Lord Shaftesbury in 1868.4,8,9,10
He was in the Merchant Navy between 1918 and 1921.6
George witnessed the marriage of Ernest Albert URIDGE and Emily NOBLE on 28 March 1925 at the All Saints' Church, Acton, Middlesex.2,11,12
Richard married Ivy Margaret WATSON on 30 July 1927 at Hackney, London. He was detailed as a Soldier, a Bachelor aged 29 residing at Aldershot No. 3. Co. 1st Div. Signal McGrigor Barracks. His father was listed as Geo. Jas. Uridge (deceased). The marriage was witnessed by James REFFELL and Edith REFFELL.13,1
On 29 September 1939, in the 1939 National Register, George and his wife Ivy, were listed as living in 365 Porters Avenue, Barking, Essex. He was born on 21 Feb 1900, and his occupation was Postman with the General Post Office.5
Richard's death was registered in 1968 in the Hillingdon registration district.14,15
His wife, Ivy, died in January 1987 in the Hillingdon registration district.16

On 29 September 1939, in the 1939 National Register, Marjorie was listed as living in 38 Gunnersbury Lane, Acton, Middlesex. She was born on 4 August 1905, and her occupation was 'Non Resident State Req Nurse No 680'. She was registered twice, both at her workplace in Shoreditch, and at her home in Acton.3
On 29 September 1939, in the 1939 National Register, Marjorie was listed as living in Royal Chest Hospital, City Road, Shoreditch, London. She was born on 4 August 1905, and her occupation was a Hospital Nurse.4
Marjorie made a will dated 28 September 1971. At the time, she was living at 18 Drayton Gardens West Drayton, Hillingdon, Middlesex.6
