Robert died in infancy of colitis, on 27 August 1908 in Clam Union, Missaukee County, Michigan, USA.^2,5,6 He was buried on 29 September 1908 at Block 5, Lot 1, Clam Union Cemetery, Falmouth, Missaukee County, Michigan, USA; No headstone was ever placed, so Philip ordered one on 1 December 2015.^3,7,5

Research Note: For some unknown reason the township cemetery record and family record is not correct. The township cemetery record also shows him buried in the same location as his cousin Beatrice Badder née Koopman.^3,4,6
