Ann URIDGE was born in 1814.4 Ann was baptized with twin sister Mary on 3 October 1814 at Chailey, Sussex, (an unknown value).2,5,6 She was the daughter of Henry URIDGE and Elizabeth SMYTH.2,3 Ann married Henry GUY, son of Henry GUY, on 27 May 1840 at East Chiltington, Sussex.7,8,3 In the census of 30 March 1851 at Hamsey, Sussex, she was listed as a dressmaker, the wife of Henry GUY; a Miller/Journeyman, living with his wife and two children.4,9 Ann URIDGE appeared on the census of 2 April 1871 at Southover, Sussex,, visiting her brother George URIDGE.10 In the census of 3 April 1881 at Chailey, Sussex, he was listed as the son of Adele Victorine URIDGE; a Coke Dealers wife, living with her five sons and a daughter. Her husband, James URIDGE, is not listed in the 1881 census. Her great nephew Frank GUY was living with them, and a servant Ellen GORRINGE.11,12 Ann died on 13 April 1893 at Barcombe, Sussex, at the age of 78.13,6 Ann was buried on 17 April 1893 at Hamsey, Sussex; Monumental Inscription: Sacred to the memory of Ann, widow of Henry GUY who died April 13, 1893 aged 78 years (nee URIDGE).13,3,6

Jane GIBBINS was born in 1821 in St. Andrews???, Middlesex.2,3,4 Jane married William URIDGE, son of Henry URIDGE and Elizabeth SMYTH, in June 1848 in the Droxford registration district.5 In the census of 30 March 1851 at Barcombe, Sussex, she was listed as the wife of William URIDGE; He was a farmer of 220 acres employing 8 men, living with his wife, mother, brothers and sister.6,7 Jane appeared in the census of 7 April 1861 at Barcombe, Sussex.3 Jane died on 13 August 1863 at Barcombe, Sussex.8,9,10,11 Jane was buried in August 1863 at Chailey, Sussex; In affectionate rememberance of Jane the belowed wife of William URIDGE of Balneath Farm who departed this life August 13 1863 aged 42.12,13

Research Note: Jane GIBBINS is probably the sister of Henry James GIBBINS, born in Hampshire in 1821. This might explain how Henry's daughter Adèle met James Uridge.14

Mary Ann died in 1851, at the young age of 36 on 9 March 1834 at Newgate, London.2,3,8 In the census of 7 June 1841 at St. Pancras, London, Theron was listed as the Head of Household; he was living with his wife Mary, and their children Theron, Robert, Frederick, and John.9 As of 1851, Theron and Frances lived at Northampton Street.10 Theron, at the time of his marriage to Frances, was an Artifical Florist, and a widower living at at Islington, London.1 Theron married Frances URIDGE, daughter of William URIDGE and Lucy STANBRIDGE, on 31 October 1853 at Islington, London.11,1,2,12,8 Theron died on 6 July 1867 at Kentish Town, London, at the age of 54.13,14
