     William George URIDGE was born on 2 September 1893, in the Lewisham registration district.1,2 He was the son of Richard URIDGE and Emma Marie WHITAKER.3,4 In the census of 31 March 1901 at 1 Bird-in-Hand Road, Sydenham, London, he was listed as aged 7 born in Forest Hill, the son of Emma M. URIDGE; a Charwoman, living with her daughter Emily, and son William G.5 William George URIDGE served in World War I between 1914 and 1918.6,7
William married Jessie M. YOUNGMAN in 1925 in Mutford, Suffolk.8,9
On 29 September 1939, in the 1939 National Register, William and his wife Jessie, were listed as living in 153 Oulton Road, Lowestoft, Suffolk. He was born on 2 September 1893, and his occupation was Power Station Control Room Operator. Their son Terence was also listed.2
His wife, Jessie, died in 1968 in the Lothingland registration district.10
William's death was registered in 1978 in the Great Yarmouth registration district.11

     George Foster URIDGE was born on 3 January 1894 at the Female Hospital, Woolwich, London.1,3,2 He was the son of Frank James URIDGE and Thirza COLLINS.2
In the census of 31 March 1901 at Rifle Hill, Black Notley, Braintree, Essex, he was listed as aged 7, born in Woolwich, the nephew of Albert GIBBS; a Butcher, living with his wife Emma and nephew George F. URIDGE.4
In the census of 2 April 1911 at High Street, Braintree, Essex, he was listed as a Helper in the business, aged 17 born in Braintree, the stepson of Samuel DOWNING.5 George Foster URIDGE served in World War I between 1914 and 1918.3
George married Dorothy Kate DEAN in 1925 in the Ashby-de-la-Zouch registration district.6
George died on 3 December 1975 in Leights, 242 Leicester Road, Markfield, Leicestershire, at the age of 81.7,8

In the census of 2 April 1911 at Carfax House, Sussex Road, Haywards Heath, Sussex, she was listed as aged 16 born in Haywards Heath, the daughter of Henry John URIDGE.5
In 1912, Gladys and her mother Elizabeth emigrated to Fresno, Fresno County, California, USA, on the ship "SS Celtic", departing from Liverpool and arriving at Ellis Island on 2 November 1912. On the ship's manifest it stated that they were mother and daugher, and going to their husband, and father H. Uridge in 1528 High Street, Fresno, California.      Frank URIDGE was born on 9 June 1896 in Amwell Sub District, Holborn, London.1,2,3 He was the son of Walter URIDGE and Louisa Jane WOODS.4,3 In the census of 31 March 1901 at 50 Southampton Road, St. Pancras, London, he was listed as aged 4 born in Clerkenwell, the son of Walter URIDGE.5 In the census of 2 April 1911 at 36 Achilles Road, West Hampstead, London, he was listed as a Upholsterers Apprentice, aged 14 born in Clerkenwell, the son of Walter URIDGE.6 Frank URIDGE served in World War I between 1914 and 1918.7 Frank married Daisy JAMES on 30 April 1921 at The Parish Church of St. James, Hampstead, London. The marriage was witnessed by Charlotte Caroline James, and George James. He was a Police Constable, a Bachelor aged 24, residing at 501 Lea Bridge Road Leyton. His father was listed as Walter Uridge, a Bank Watchman.4,8,3 In 1923, at the time of the birth of their son Frank Walter, Frank and Daisy lived at 36 Kettlebaston Road, Leyton, Kent. Research Note: The core of the family continued to live in and around Sydenham, Crystal Palace and Camberwell for many years, although one branch of the family with several children moved to Australia during the mid-late 19th century - both to Queensland and Sydney.17

Clifford completed a World War II Draft Registration Card on 1942. It gave his address as 2101 Park Boulevard, Oakland, Alameda County, California, USA.12
An announcement relating to him becoming a General Manager was reported in the Daily Review, Hayward, Alameda County, California, USA on 23 August 1951.13 It read:
Cliff Uridge, well-known east-bay merchandising expert, has been named general manager of Goldman's, new Hayward store.
Uridge joined the organization several months ago and in the interim has been busy laying plans for the store opening, working out of the executive offices in Oakland.
Uridge was born in England came to the United States in 1919 and settled immediately on the West Coast.
His first retail connection was in Fresno where he was display manager for a women’s specialty shop. From there he went to Los Angeles and became manager of the chain stores in the Bedell group. In 1933 he came to Oakland where he was named buyer of women’s ready-to-wear, at Kahn's Oakland department store. Soon he was divisional merchandise manager of ready-to-wear and in 1942 he left Kahn’s to become general manager of Capwell, Sullivan and Furth, another Oakland department store.
Uridge returned to Kahn’s in 1948 as assistant general merchandise manager. In April of this year he resigned from Kahn's to join Goldman's. According to Uridge the new Goldman’s Hayward store is the finest women’s specialty store with which he has been associated. He states he has made an effort to employ as many local people as possible and has expressed a desire to become known in local circles as quickly as possible.13

Clifford died on 18 June 1972 in Oakland, Alameda County, California, USA, at the age of 75.4,14

In the census of 2 April 1911 at 73 Westbourne Avenue, Gateshead, Durham, she was listed as aged 12 born in Newcastle on Tyne, the daughter of Ernest Albert URIDGE.1 Caroline Emily Elizabeth URIDGE married John DAVIDSON in 1918. They were childhood lovers.3 Caroline Emily Elizabeth URIDGE emigrated in 1920 to Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada.3 She died of cancer on 27 April 1932 at Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, at age 33.3,4 She was buried; in the farm which they owned.3

In the census of 31 March 1901 at 3 Arundel Terrace, Eastbourne, Sussex, he was listed as the son of Ebenezer URIDGE; a Grocer.2
Frederick served in World War I between 1914 and 1918.4
Frederick married Annie May COMBER in 1925 in the Eastbourne registration district.5
Frederick made a will dated 25 January 1926 when he was living at 21 Birling Street, Eastbourne, Sussex.6
