     George Foster URIDGE was born on 3 January 1894 at Female Hospital, Woolwich, London.1,3,2 He was the son of Frank James URIDGE and Thirza COLLINS.2 In the census of 31 March 1901 at Rifle Hill, Great Motley, Essex, he was listed as aged 7, born in Woolwich, the nephew of Albert GIBBS; a Butcher, living with his wife and nephew.4 George Foster URIDGE served in World War I between 1914 and 1918.3
George married Dorothy Kate DEAN in 1925 at Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire.5
George died on 3 December 1975 in Leights, 242 Leicester Road, Markfield, Leicestershire, at the age of 81.6,7

Gladys Adele URIDGE was born in 1894 at Haywards Heath, Sussex.1,4,2 She was the daughter of Henry John URIDGE and Mary Ann TAYLOR.2 In the census of 31 March 1901 at Public Hall, Haywards Heath, Sussex, she was listed as the daughter of Henry John URIDGE; a grocer, living with his wife, two children, grandmother (wife's), sister and servant.2 In the census of 2 April 1911 at Carfax House, Sussex Road, Haywards Heath, Sussex, she was listed as aged 16 born in Haywards Heath, the daughter of Henry John URIDGE.5
In 1912, Gladys and Elizabeth Sarah HIDE emigrated to Fresno, Fresno County, California, on the ship "SS Celtic", departing from Liverpool and arriving at Ellis Island on 2 November 1912. On the ships manifest it stated that they were mother and daugher, and going to their husband, and father H. Uridge in 1528 High Street, Fresno, California. Their nearest relative was given as Mr Hide, "Conway", Haywards Road, Haywards Heath.3

     Frank URIDGE was born on 9 June 1896 in Amwell Sub District, Holborn, London.1,4,3 He was the son of Walter URIDGE and Louisa Jane WOODS.2,3 In the census of 31 March 1901 at 50 Southampton Road, St. Pancras, London, he was listed as aged 4 born in Clerkenwell, the son of Walter URIDGE.5 In the census of 2 April 1911 at 36 Achilles Road, West Hampstead, London, he was listed as a Upholsterers Apprentice, aged 14 born in Clerkenwell, the son of Walter URIDGE.6 Frank URIDGE served in World War I between 1914 and 1918.7 Frank married Daisy JAMES on 30 April 1921 at The Parish Church of St. James, Hampstead, London. The marriage was witnessed by Charlotte Caroline James, and George James. He was a Police Constable, a Bachelor aged 24, residing at 501 Lea Bridge Road Leyton. His father was listed as Walter Uridge, a Bank Watchman.2,8,3 In 1923, at the time of the birth of their son Frank Walter, Frank and Daisy lived at 36 Kettlebaston Road, Leyton, Kent. Frank's occupation was a Police Constable.9 Frank URIDGE was the informant of the birth of his son Frank Walter URIDGE on 10 February 1923 at 36 Kettlebaston Road, Leyton, Essex.9,10,3
Frank died on 29 July 1963 in 92 Theydon Street, Walthamstow, Essex, at the age of 67.11,12,13,3,14 His estate was probated on 13 November 1963 in London.15

Research Note: The core of the family continued to live in and around Sydenham, Crystal Palace and Camberwell for many years, although one branch of the family with several children moved to Australia during the mid-late 19th century - both to Queensland and Sydney.16

     Caroline Emily E. URIDGE was born on 21 June 1898 at Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland.1,3,4 She was the daughter of Ernest Albert URIDGE and Margaret Laidlaw BLACKHALL.2 Caroline Emily E. URIDGE was baptized in the LDS church on 6 October 1907.5,6 She married John DAVIDSON in 1918. They were childhood lovers.3 Caroline Emily E. URIDGE emigrated in 1920 to Lethbridge, Alberta.3 She died of cancer on 27 April 1932 at Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, at age 33.3,4 Caroline was buried; in the farm which they owned.3

     Albert Edward URIDGE was born in 1898 at Portsmouth, Hampshire.1,2 He was the son of William URIDGE and Kate Augusta Winifred LEWRY.2 In the census of 31 March 1901 at 3 Wyncliffe Road, Portsmouth, Hampshire, he was listed as aged 2 born in Portsmouth, the son of William URIDGE.2 Albert was Private 129033 , 19th Bn; Machine Gun Corps (Infantry). Formerly 381168 Hampshire Regiment in 1918.3,4 Albert was buried on 10 April 1918 at Tyne Cot Memorial, Zonnebeke, West Viaanderen.3 Albert was killed in action on 10 April 1918 at Flanders.5,3,4

     Frederick Gilbert URIDGE was born in 1899 at Eastbourne, Sussex.1,2 He was the son of Ebenezer URIDGE and Ellen FUNNELL.2 In the census of 31 March 1901 at 3 Arundel Terrace, Eastbourne, Sussex, he was listed as the son of Ebenezer URIDGE; a Grocer.2 Frederick Gilbert URIDGE served in World War I between 1914 and 1918.3
Frederick married Annie May COMBER in 1925 in the Eastbourne registration district.4,5
Frederick made a will dated 25 January 1926 when he was living at 21 Birling Street, Eastbourne, Sussex.6
Frederick died on 28 August 1955 in Eastbourne, Sussex.7,8 At the time of Frederick's death they were living at 94 Green Street, Eastbourne, Sussex.6 His estate was probated to his wife Annie on 26 September 1955 at Lewes, Sussex.8

URIDGE was born on 9 July 1900 at Lewes, Sussex.1,2 He was the son of James Isidore URIDGE and Mary Jane MARTIN.2 Kingsley died in infancy on 16 July 1900 at Lewes, Sussex.3,2 Kingsley was buried in July 1900 at St Peter, Chailey, Sussex; and is commerated with a Monumental Cross: Suffer little children to come unto me. In loving memory of Kingsley Frank Gibbins, infant son of James Isidore and Mary Jane URIDGE who died 16 July 1900 aged 7 days.2
