Harry James URIDGE was born on 4 January 1888 in Wivelsfield, Sussex.^1,4,3 He was the son of Henry James URIDGE and Annie Elizabeth GODLEY.^2,3 In the census of 5 April 1891 at Cottage, Little Ote Hall, Wivelsfield, Sussex, he was listed as the son of Henry James URIDGE.⁵ In the census of 31 March 1901 at 22 Rugby Road, Preston, Sussex, he was listed as the step-son of William LEWIS; a Copper Smith.³ Harry married Hilda Mary MONCUR in September 1924 at St. George Hanover Square, London.⁶ Harry died in 1970 at Brighton, Sussex.

Richard John URIDGE was born in 1888 in Peckham, London.^1,2,3 He was the son of Walter URIDGE and Louisa Jane WOODS.² In the census of 5 April 1891 at 77 Graylands Road, Camberwell, London, he was listed as aged 2 born in Peckham, the son of Walter URIDGE.³ In the census of 31 March 1901 at 50 Southampton Road, St. Pancras, London, he was listed as aged 12 born in Peckham, the son of Walter URIDGE.⁴ Richard married Lillian Ellen BENNELL in 1912 at Hampstead, London.^5,2 As of circa 1940, Richard lived at Wembley Park, Middlesex.⁶ Richard died on 3 May 1952 at St. Pancras Hospital, St. Pancras, London.^7,8,2 He left a will (copy held) at 13 West Hill, Wembley Park, Middlesex. Probate was granted to Frank URIDGE on 2 July 1952.⁸

Ethel Elizabeth URIDGE was born in 1889 in Sydenham, London.^1,2 She was the daughter of Richard URIDGE and Emma Marie WHITAKER.² In the census of 5 April 1891 at Perry Rise, Perry Terrace, Lewisham, London, she was listed as aged 2 born in Sydenham Kent, the daughter of Richard URIDGE.² Ethel's death was registered in 1892 in the Greenwich registration district.³

URIDGE.³ He was the son of William URIDGE and Minnie Jane WELLS.³ In the census of 5 April 1891 at Thorndale, Newman Road, Bromley, Kent, he was listed as the son of William URIDGE.⁶ William served in World War I between 1914 and 1918.⁷ William married Gladys LEWIS in 1920 at Epsom, Surrey.^8,2 William married Isabel Dorothy Matilda BURTON in 1930 at Epsom, Surrey.⁸ William died on 17 November 1974 at 89 Goring Road, Worthing, Sussex, at the age of 85.^5,9

Charles Edgar URIDGE was born on 23 July 1890 in Chiswell Street, Holborn, London.^1,2,3,4 He was the son of William Gurney URIDGE and Mary Ann GRAHAM.^2,3 In the census of 5 April 1891 at Chiswell Street, St. Lukes, London, he was listed as 7 months old, andthe grand-son of William URIDGE.⁵ In the census of 31 March 1901 at 27 Chiswell Street, St. Lukes, London, he was listed as the son of William Gurney URIDGE.⁶ Charles married Rosina Caroline GOODCHILD on 27 April 1912 at Holloway, London.^7,2,8,9 As of 1958, Charles and Rosina lived at 32 Larkaster Gardens, East Finchley, London.¹⁰ Charles died on 28 September 1958 at Middlesex Hospital, St. Marylebone, London, at the age of 68.^11,10,2,3,4 The 1958 Will index shows: "URIDGE Charles Edgar of 32 Larkaster Gardens East Finchley London N.2 Died 28 September 1958 at Middlesex Hospital St Marylebone London Probate London 18 December to Rosina Caroline URIDGE widow £ 2,203 1s 4d.¹⁰" His estate was probated on 18 December 1958 at London, London.¹⁰

Emily URIDGE was born on 1 July 1890, and registered in the Lewisham registration district.^5,4,6 She was the daughter of Richard URIDGE and Emma Marie WHITAKER.^2,3 In the census of 5 April 1891 at Perry Rise, Perry Terrace, Lewisham, London, she was listed as aged 9 months born in Forest Hill, the daughter of Richard URIDGE.⁷ In the census of 31 March 1901 at 1 Bird-in-Hand Road, Sydenham, London, she was listed as aged 10 born in Forest Hill, the daughter of Emma M. URIDGE; a Charwoman, living with her daughter Emily, and son William G.⁸ Emily married Harry R. TOLER in 1919 in the Croydon registration district.^9,10
Emily was in a photograph taken 1921. The photograph was of Emily Toler née Uridge, holding her son John "Jack" William Toler, together with her mother Emma Marie Uridge née Whitaker.¹¹ In the 1926 electorial roll for 205 South Lambeth Road, Lambeth, London, it shows Harry Robert Toler and his wife Emily Toler, and his mother-in-law Emma Marie Uridge, who had died in late 1925.¹² Emily died on 28 July 1977 at the age of 87. Her death was registered in the Lambeth registration district.^6,4,13

Harry Vernor URIDGE was born in 1892 in Clerkenwell, Middlesex.^4,5,6,7 He was the son of Walter URIDGE and Louisa Jane WOODS.^2,3 In the census of 31 March 1901 at 50 Southampton Road, St. Pancras, London, he was listed as aged 9 born in Peckham, the son of Walter URIDGE.⁷ During World War I, Harry was Private 5678 in the Duke of Cambridge's Own (Middlesex Regiment).^2,6 Harry was killed in action on 15 March 1916 at Flanders, Somme, France.^8,2,6 Harry was buried at Carnoy, Somme, France.²

Douglas James Gibbins URIDGE was born on 18 April 1893 at Lewes, Sussex.^1,4,3,5,2 He was the son of James Isidore URIDGE and Mary Jane MARTIN.^2,3 In the census of 31 March 1901 at "Downside", Kings Henry's Road, St. Johns, Lewes, Sussex, he was listed as the son of James Isidore URIDGE; a retired Farmer and Corndealer, living with his wife, two sons and his niece and two servants.³ Douglas served in World War I. He joined the 30th British Columbia Horse (Canada) in August 1914 and was discharged on account of injuries to the head from a horse kick, before the Regiment sailed for England. When he recovered he paid his own passage back to England. He was rejected nine times before passing the medical examination in March 1916, when he joined the M.T.A.S.C. and was a driver. He was discharged as being no longer physically fit for war service on 4 October 1917.^2,6,7 Douglas married Elsie Muriel BROWN on 30 September 1917 at Woolwich, London.^8,4,2 Douglas James Gibbins URIDGE and Elsie Muriel BROWN were divorced on 2 July 1923.² Douglas married Ethel M.
