Indexed under the surname URIAGE.3,2 Ada Elizabeth URIDGE was the informant on the death certificate of Elizabeth KEEBLE on 14 September 1918 at 2 Southbourne Road, Christchurch, Hampshire.5,2,6 As of 16 December 1918, Ada lived at 5 Hillbrow Road, Pokesdown, Bournemouth, Hampshire. As of 1952, Ada lived at Coombe Oak Warren Road, Kingston upon Thames, Surrey.7 Ada died on 19 February 1952 at 26 Wolverton Avenue, Kingston upon Thames, Surrey.2,8,9 She left a Letter of Administration.8

Albert Willsher URIDGE was born on 9 January 1875 in Lewes, Sussex.1,7,8,3 He was the son of Henry URIDGE and Adeline LIPSCOMB.2,3,4,5 Albert Willsher URIDGE was baptized on 27 February 1876 at St. John The Baptist, Lewes, Sussex.4,9 He was listed as the grandson of George URIDGE in the census of 5 April 1891 at 13 High Street, Southover, Sussex.6 Albert died on 24 January 1951 at Fresno, California, USA, at the age of 76.7,3

     Ernest Albert URIDGE was born on 25 January 1876 at Egham, Surrey.1,3,4,5,6 Ernest Albert was also known as Ernest Albert COLEMAN.2,7 He was baptized on 19 March 1876 at Egham, Surrey.8 He was the son of William John URIDGE and Caroline Janette POYNTER.2
Ernest married by license Margaret Laidlaw BLACKHALL, daughter of David BLACKHALL and Elizabeth PERCY, on 22 August 1898 at The Register Office, Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland. The marriage was witnessed by Robert BAKER and Isabella PATRICK. He was a Driver in the Royal Artillery, a bachelor aged 22, residing at The Barracks, Newcastle. His father was listed as Ernest Henry Uridge (deceased), a Journeyman Bricklayer.7,9,2,4,6
Ernest worked in an ammunition factory and Margaret ran a small corner shop. They lived above the shop at 5 Delaval Road, Benwell, Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland (photo held).
In the early 1900's, Ernest inherited some property in New Zealand but Margaret didn't want to go there. They met a Mormon who said "Come to Carson, Alberta, Canada there is lots of work, land etc". They entered into the Mormon Church and emigrated to Canada in 1920. They travelled second class with lots of money behind them for a new start. They arrived in Montreal, Quebec. Margaret had a miscarriage and had to be hospitalized. They made it as far as Lethbridge, Alberta and could not find the gentleman they had spoken to. So this is where they settled until 1938 when some of the family decided to travel to Vancouver in search of more work.10 According to a family bible Ernest Albert URIDGE was entered in the Latter Day Saints (Mormons) church on 6 October 1907.11 Ernest was in a photograph taken an unknown date.12
Ernest Albert URIDGE witnessed the marriage of Lona ELASCHUK and Albert William David URIDGE on 28 August 1927.13,14
On 28 October, 1937 whilst working as a cook for the Canadian Pacific Railroad, at Spencers Bridge, Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada, he went missing. He fell into the river when going to the toilet. His body was found by Indians in 1938. The cause of death was accidental drowning. A newspaper cutting is available.3,13,15,4,6 Ernest was buried in 1938 at Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada.8

Mabel Louise URIDGE was born on 13 January 1876 in Stratford, Sandy, Bedfordshire.1,3,4,2 She was the daughter of Joshua URIDGE and Frances LANGRISH.3,2 In the census of 3 April 1881 at 70 Eaton Mews, St. George Hanover Square, London, she was listed as aged 5 born in Bedfordshire, the daughter of Joshua URIDGE; a Coachman living with his wife Frances, and children Ellen, George, William, Charles, Mabel, and Edwin.3 Mabel Louise URIDGE witnessed the marriage of Walter James SIDEY and Helen Frances URIDGE on 17 July 1892 at The Parish Church of St. John the Evangelist West, London, London.5,6
Mabel married Ernest Edward WHEELER in 1896 in the Lambeth registration district.7 In the census of 31 March 1901 at 5 Pennant Road, Camberwell, London, she was listed as the wife of Ernest Edward WHEELER; a Mineral Water Traveller, living with his wife and young son Arthur.8
Mabel was in an undated photograph. The photograph is assumed to be of Mabel, however this needs to be verified.9 Mabel died on 13 April 1912 in the Hackney Union Infirmary, Homerton, Hackney, London, at the age of 36.10,11,12

William Charles URIDGE was born in 1876 in Holborn, London.1 He was the son of Charles Clifford URIDGE and Hannah Marie GIARDELLI.2 William died in infancy in 1880 at Holborn, London.3

Edward Francis URIDGE was born in 1876 in Willian, Hertfordshire.1,2,6 He was the son of Edward URIDGE and Lucy IMPEY.2,3 In the census of 3 April 1881 at Richmond Road Stable, Kensington, London, he was listed as the nephew of Francis BRIDGFOOT.4 In the census of 5 April 1891 at 13 Roxley Cottages, Willian, Hertfordshire, he was listed as a Scholar, the son of Lucy IMPEY.7 Francis married Alice L. GODLIMAN in 1911 in the Hitchin registration district.5,8 Francis and Alice L. URIDGE immigrated to Suffield, Alberta, Canada.9 Francis died from the flu, in 1918.9

In the census of 3 April 1881 at Bevern Bridge House, Chailey, Sussex, he was listed as the son of Adele Victorine URIDGE.6,2 In the census of 5 April 1891 at East Chiltington, Sussex, he was listed as the son of Adele V. URIDGE.3
Albert and Adele, travelled on the "SS New York", sailing from Southampton to New York, New York, USA, arriving on 13 June 1896. They were probably visiting relatives in California.7 In the census of 31 March 1901 at "Wickham", Kings Henry's Road, St. Johns, Lewes, Sussex, he was listed as an Estate Agents Clerk, the brother of Eliza V. URIDGE.8
Albert married Clara LANGRIDGE, daughter of George LANGRIDGE and Mary Ann COX, in 1903 at Lewes, Sussex.9,10,4 Albert John Richard URIDGE served in World War I between 1914 and 1918.11 He was appointed as an Executor of his father, James Isidore URIDGE's will made on 19 October 1920.12,13 His father, James Isidore URIDGE's estate was probated to Albert John Richard URIDGE on 10 August 1925 at Lewes, Sussex.12 As of 1929, Albert lived at "Claverham", Prince Edwards Road, Lewes, Sussex.13 Eliza Victorine URIDGE's estate was probated to Albert John Richard URIDGE on 26 June 1931 at Lewes, Sussex.13,14 Albert died on 29 December 1940 at Lewes, Sussex.15,13,4,12 As a result of a large donation, an RNLI lifeboat is named after him - The AJR & LG URIDGE.

Lewis was a Brass Finisher.8 Lewis married Hannah BLOOMFIELD on 12 November 1911 at St. Philips, Camberwell, London. The marriage was witnessed by Josiah Read BLOOMFIELD, and Alice Maud BLOOMFIELD. Lewis was a bachelor aged 33. His father was listed as Edward Uridge (deceased), a Coachman.2,9,8 His wife, Hannah, died in 1929 in the Hitchin registration district.10 Lewis's death was registered in 1939 in the Hitchin registration district.2,11

Helen URIDGE was born on 25 July 1882 in Balneath, Barcombe, Sussex.5,1,6,7 She was the daughter of William URIDGE and Emma Eliza TOWNSEND.1,3 Helen appeared in the census of 31 March 1901 at 172 Priory Place, Dover, Kent, She was recorded as aged 18, born in Chailey Sussex, a Drapers Assistant, boarding with Havelock Hedgers (a Drapers Manager), and his wife.6
Helen married Samuel REYNOLDS, son of Charles REYNOLDS and Elizabeth ADAMS, on 15 February 1919 at Cottesloe, Western Australia, Australia. In the marriage certificate Helen was listed as aged 33 a Spinster living in Cottesloe. Her father was detailed as William URIDGE a Farmer, and her mother Emma TOWNSEND.7,8
Helen died of Coronary Thrombosis on 24 March 1967 at Rathmullen, County Donegal, Ireland, at age 84 of Coronary Thrombosis.7,4

Nellie Victorine URIDGE was born in 1886 in Wivelsfield, Sussex.3,4 She was the daughter of Henry James URIDGE and Annie Elizabeth GODLEY.2 In the census of 31 March 1901 at 22 Rugby Road, Preston, Sussex, she was listed as the stepdaughter of William LEWIS; a Copper Smith.4 Nellie married Eric Read NEVE in 1912 at Steyning, Sussex.5
