Ebenezer URIDGE was born in 1869 at Cuckfield, Sussex.^1,3,2 He was the son of William URIDGE and Mary MITCHELL.² In the census of 2 April 1871 at Cuckfield, Sussex, he was listed as the son of William URIDGE; A farmer of 270 acres employing six men and two boys.⁴ In the census of 3 April 1881 at Cuckfield, Sussex, he was listed as the son of William URIDGE; a farmer of 267 acres, employed 8 labourers and 2 boys, living with his wife, four sons and three daughters.²

Jessie Kate URIDGE was born in 1870 at Chailey, Sussex.^2,3,4 She was the daughter of James URIDGE and Adele Victorine GIBBINS.¹ Jessie Kate URIDGE was baptised on 11 September 1870 at Chailey, Sussex.⁵ She was listed in the census of 2 April 1871 at Chailey, Sussex.⁶ She was listed in the census of 3 April 1881 at Lewes, Sussex, she was a boarder/pupil at the school.³ In the census of 5 April 1891 at East Chiltington, Sussex, she was listed as the daughter of Adele V. URIDGE.⁷
Jessie married Stanley Vernon SYMONDSON, son of Francis SYMONDSON and Alphonsine Marie GIBBINS, in 1892 at Lewes, Sussex. they were cousins - their mothers were sisters.⁸

William James URIDGE was born in 1872 at Lewisham, London.^3,2 He was the son of Frederick James URIDGE and Harriett BRUNSDEN.² William James URIDGE travelling between London to Brisbane between 5 March 1874 and 9 June 1874 Travelled on the ship "Ramsey" with parents Frederick & Harriett URIDGE. He died, aged 1, on the voyage. The ship departed London March 5,1874 and arrived in Brisbane June 9, 1874.⁴ Although William James URIDGE died on voyage from London. The death was registered in Queensland Registry of Death Index.⁴
