     Edward COLBRAN was baptized in 1716 at Warbleton, Sussex.² Edward of Alicston, married Hannah URIDGE, daughter of Thomas URIDGE, on 3 May 1741 at Buxted, Sussex.^3,4,5,6

     John URIDGE was baptized on 6 April 1746 at St. Margarets, Buxted, Sussex.¹ He was the son of John URIDGE and Rebecca JEFF.¹ He was named as a beneficiary and executor in his father's John URIDGE's will made on 8 April 1781.^2,3,4 In 1785, John was the occupier of several properties in Buxted, Sussex:
     In Buxted Wood, Tibs Mill for a rental value of £4, and an unspecified property of John Wildish for a rental of £22.
     In Highhurst Wood, (unnamed) lands owned by Fuller esq, for a rental of £13.
     In Highhurst Wood, (unnamed property), owned by himself that he paid a rental of £2. This would be his house and land of Lime Kiln House (Old Hall Cottage).
     Tibs Mill it is believed, was just to the north of Fowley Lane where it crosses the river between Sleeches and Burnt Oak and only just outside the area then considered to be High Hurstwood.
     In Highhurst Wood, Turke land, owned by George Medley esq, for a rental of £14. Turke Lands, it is believed, was near Firstead Bank. So John farmed several pieces of land scattered around the village of Highhurst Wood as well as his own small piece of land.^5,6,7,8
John URIDGE made a will dated 7 January 1808 at Buxted, Sussex. In his will there is no reference to children, or a wife. The will was witnessed by John COLBRAN, Edward PAGE, and E.O. DADSWELL.^9,2,10,11,12 John died in January 1808 at the age of 61.¹³ John was buried on 18 January 1808 at Buxted, Sussex.¹⁴ His estate was probated on 21 June 1808 at Buxted, Sussex.⁹

     Thomas URIDGE was baptized on 24 May 1750 at St. Margarets, Buxted, Sussex.² He was the son of John URIDGE and Rebecca JEFF.¹ He was named as a beneficiary in his father John URIDGE's will made on 8 April 1781.^3,4,5 Thomas married Sarah (?).⁶ Thomas died in 1808.⁷ He was referred to in John URIDGE's will on 7 January 1808 as deceased; In his will there is no reference to children, or a wife. The will was witnessed by John COLBRAN, Edward PAGE, and E.O. DADSWELL.^8,3,9,10,11

     
Elizabeth URIDGE was born in 1730?³ She was the daughter of Thomas URIDGE.² Elizabeth married William PAGE on 28 July 1752 at Buxted, Sussex.⁴

     William married Elizabeth URIDGE, daughter of Thomas URIDGE, on 28 July 1752 at Buxted, Sussex.²

     Mary URIDGE was baptized on 11 December 1752 at St. Margarets, Buxted, Sussex.² She was the daughter of John URIDGE and Rebecca JEFF.¹ Mary married Benjamin HARRIS on 2 November 1771 at Buxted, Sussex.³ Mary married Richard VINE on 19 May 1774 at Uckfield, Sussex.^4,5,6 She was named as a beneficiary in her father John URIDGE's will made on 8 April 1781.^7,8,9 She was mentioned in her brother John URIDGE's will made on 7 January 1808. The will refers to her as Mary VINE, a widow and the mother of John HARRIS, John's nephew.^{10,7,11,12,13}

     Richard married Ann URIDGE née.² Richard URIDGE was baptized on 11 May 1755 at St. Margarets, Buxted, Sussex.³ He was the son of John URIDGE and Rebecca JEFF.¹ He was named as a beneficiary in his father John URIDGE's will made on 8 April 1781.^4,5,6 Richard died before 1808.⁷ He was referred to in John URIDGE's will made on 7 January 1808.^8,4,9,10,11

     Thomas married Mary (?).¹ Thomas died in January 1803.² He was buried on 20 January 1803 or March at Buxted, Sussex.^3,4

     
Mary (?) was born in 1734?² Mary married Thomas URIDGE.¹ Mary was buried on 14 May 1808 at Buxted, Sussex.³

     Hannah URIDGE was baptized on 31 August 1760 at St. Margarets, Buxted, Sussex.^2,3,4 She was the daughter of Thomas URIDGE and Mary (?).¹ Hannah died in March 1791 at the age of 30.⁵ She was buried on 7 March 1791 or 7 March at Buxted, Sussex.⁶

     Elizabeth URIDGE was baptized on 20 May 1759 at St. Margarets, Buxted, Sussex.² She was the daughter of Thomas URIDGE and Mary (?).¹ Elizabeth URIDGE married John DAW on 10 October 1780 at Buxted, Sussex. By banns, in the presence of Thomas DYKE & Thomas WOAR.³

     John URIDGE was baptized on 23 April 1762, or 5 April 1762 at St. Margarets, Buxted, Sussex.² He was the son of Thomas URIDGE and Mary (?).¹ John married Ann HOUSE.^3,4 John died in May 1838 at The Poorhouse, Rotherfield, Sussex, at the age of 76.⁵ John was buried on 31 May 1838 at St. Danys Churchyard, Rotherfield, Sussex.⁶

     Mary URIDGE was baptized on 1 January 1764 at Buxted, Sussex.² She was the daughter of Thomas URIDGE and Mary (?).¹ Mary URIDGE married James OLDER on 7 August 1799 at Buxted, Sussex, by banns. In the presence of John DAW & Thomas WOAR.³

     William URIDGE was baptized on 7 April 1765 at St. Margarets, Buxted, Sussex.^2,3 He was the son of John URIDGE and Rebecca JEFF.¹ William URIDGE died in infancy.⁴ He was buried on 17 April 1765 at Buxted, Sussex.⁵

     Ann URIDGE was baptized on 21 July 1765 at St. Margarets, Buxted, Sussex.^2,3,4 She was the daughter of Thomas URIDGE and Mary (?).¹ Ann died on 20 April 1827? At Marefield, Sussex, at the age of 61.^5,6 Ann was buried on 22 April 1827 at Buxted, Sussex.⁷

     Thomas URIDGE was baptized on 7 December 1766 at St. Margarets, Buxted, Sussex.^2,3 He was the son of Thomas URIDGE and Mary (?).¹ Thomas's death was registered in October 1840 in the Uckfield registration district at the age of 73.^4,5 Thomas was buried on 11 October 1840 at Buxted, Sussex.⁵

     Barbara URIDGE was baptized on 8 March 1768 at St. Margarets, Buxted, Sussex.² She was the daughter of Thomas URIDGE and Mary (?).¹ Barbara URIDGE married Thomas HAZEMORE on 3 November 1788 at Tonbridge, Kent.^3,4,5 As of 5 June 1791, Barbara was also known as Barbery HAZEMORE.⁶ Barbara died on 27 March 1804 at Tonbridge, Kent, at the age of 36.⁷ As of 27 March 1804, Barbara was also known as Barbara HASMORE.⁵

     Annesley URIDGE was baptized on 5 November 1769 at St. Margarets, Buxted, Sussex.^2,3,4 She was the daughter of Thomas URIDGE and Mary (?).¹

      Benjamin was also known as Benjamin HERRIS.² He was baptized on 11 December 1752 at Buxted, Sussex.³ Benjamin married Mary URIDGE, daughter of John URIDGE and Rebecca JEFF, on 2 November 1771 at Buxted, Sussex.⁴ Benjamin died in March 1772 at the age of 19.⁵ He was found drowned and was buried on 25 March 1772 at Buxted, Sussex.³

     Sarah URIDGE was baptized on 24 November 1771 at St. Margarets, Buxted, Sussex.^2,3 She was the daughter of Thomas URIDGE and Mary (?).¹ Sarah married, by licence, Stephen UPTON on 15 June 1803 at Buxted, Sussex. He was a labourer and bachelor of Withyham, and she was a singlewoman of Buxted. In the presence of Geo HOLLAND & John GORRINGE.⁴

     John DAW married Elizabeth URIDGE, daughter of Thomas URIDGE and Mary (?), on 10 October 1780 at Buxted, Sussex. By banns, in the presence of Thomas DYKE & Thomas WOAR.²
