In a document dated c1905, she is referred to as "Mrs Mary Harcourt Masters resides 34 Sylvester Road, East Dulwich, London. Has been seen (marriage certificate examined).¹¹"

     Walter URIDGE was born on 31 August 1856 at Russell Street, Sydenham, Kent.^1,2,4,5 He was the son of Richard URIDGE and Sarah Louisa HALL.^1,3 Walter URIDGE was baptised on 26 December 1856 at Sydenham, Kent.⁶ In the census of 7 April 1861 at Sydenham, Kent, he was listed as aged 5 born in Sydenham, the son of Richard URIDGE.³ In the census of 2 April 1871 at 20 Fir Street, Sydenham, Kent, he was listed as aged 14 born in Sydenham, the brother of John URIDGE.^5,7
Walter married Louisa Jane WOODS in 1880 in the Lambeth registration district.^8,4,9 As of 1881, Walter URIDGE lived at 19 Prospect Road, Sydenham, Kent.¹⁰ In the census of 3 April 1881 at 25 Rowland Grove Wells Road, Lewisham, London, Walter was listed as aged 24 born in Sydenham, the Head of Household; a Gardener, living with his wife Louisa, and daughter Minnie L.¹¹ He was a Railway Porter in 1882 at Sydenham, Kent.¹⁰ As of 1886, Walter URIDGE lived at 21 Prospect Road, Sydenham, Kent; this house was bequeathed to him in his uncle William's will.^10,12 He was a Messenger in 1886 at Sydenham, Kent.¹⁰ He was named as a beneficiary in William URIDGE's will made on 20 June 1888.¹³ Walter was listed as aged 34 born in Sydenham, the Head of Household in the census of 5 April 1891 at 77 Graylands Road, Camberwell, London, a Stationer's Assistant, living with his wife Louisa J., and children Walter, Richard J., Minnie L., Emily S. Also living with them was a nurse child Charlotte J. JEAL? age 8 born in Peckham.¹⁴ Walter was listed as aged 44 born Sydenham, the Head of Household in the census of 31 March 1901 at 50 Southampton Road, St. Pancras, London, a Jobbing Gardener, living with his wife Louisa J., and children Minnie L., Emily S., Walter H., Richard J., Elizabeth M.J., Harry Vernor, and Frank. Also living with them was a boarder Walter H. SEAMOND Boarder aged 23 born in St. Pancras.¹⁵
In a document dated c1905, he is referred to as "took 19 Prospect Road and does not share in this estate.¹⁶"
In the census of 2 April 1911 at 36 Achilles Road, West Hampstead, London, Walter was listed as aged 54 born in Sydenham, the Head of Household; a Bath-Chair Proprietor, living with his wife Louisa Jane, and children Richard J., Elizabeth, Henry Vernor, and Frank. Also listed was "Bertir Reynolds", a Carpenter aged 21 born in Sidney [Sydney] Australia.¹⁷ In the census of 2 April 1911 he was at the same address as his son-in-law John George NORTHFIELD, but enumerated as a different household.^18,19 At the time of the death of his son, Harry Vernor in 1916 he lived at West Hampstead, London; The building was in fact a grocery shop.^20,21 Walter's death was registered in 1929 in the Hampstead registration district.^22,4

     Harriet Harcourt URIDGE's birth was registered in 1856 in the Lewisham registration district.^1,3 She was the daughter of John URIDGE and Sarah DROVER.² Harriet Harcourt URIDGE was baptised on 1 January 1857 at Sydenham, Kent.⁴ Harriet died in infancy in 1857 at Sydenham, Kent.^5,6,3

     Frank URIDGE was born in 1859 at Sydenham, Kent.^2,3,4 He was the son of Richard URIDGE and Sarah Louisa HALL.¹ In the census of 7 April 1861 at Russell Street, Sydenham, Kent, he was listed as aged 2 born in Sydenham, the son of Richard URIDGE.¹ Frank URIDGE was baptised on 14 September 1864 at Sydenham, Kent.³ In the census of 2 April 1871 at 20 Fir Street, Sydenham, Kent, he was listed as aged 11 born in Sydenham, the brother of John URIDGE.^5,6 Frank was listed as a Gunner in the census of 3 April 1881 at Vessel "Lord Warden", Queensferry, Edinburgh.⁷ Frank's death was registered in 1920 in the Barnet registration district.^8,4

Research Note: His uncle William URIDGE (1815-1890) did not mention him in his will, although most of William's known living nephew and neices were. Perhaps there was a upset in the family prior to 1880, and Frank had ran away and joined the Navy.^9,10

     Arthur URIDGE was born in 1860 at Lewisham, London.^3,4 He was baptised on 23 November 1860 at Sydenham, Kent.² He was the son of Richard URIDGE and Sarah Louisa HALL.¹ Arthur died in infancy in December 1860 at Lewisham, London.^5,4 Arthur was buried at 3.00 pm on 10 December 1860 at the Burial Ground, Lewisham, Kent.⁶

     William URIDGE was born in 1863 at Lewisham, London.^2,3 He was baptised on 28 April 1863 at Sydenham, Kent.⁴ He was the son of Mary Ann URIDGE.¹ William died in infancy in 1863 at Sydenham, Kent.^1,3,5

     William John Humpton URIDGE was born in 1863 at Lewisham, London.² He was baptised on 13 September 1863 at Sydenham, Kent.³ He was the son of William John URIDGE and Caroline Janette POYNTER.¹ In the census of 2 April 1871 at 17 Fir Street, Sydenham, Kent, he was listed as the son of William John URIDGE.⁴

     Walter Henry URIDGE was born on 25 January 1885 at Dulwich, London.^1,2,3,4,5 He was the son of Walter URIDGE and Louisa Jane WOODS.¹ Walter Henry URIDGE was baptised on 27 February 1886 at Sydenham, Kent.⁶ In the census of 5 April 1891 at 77 Graylands Road, Camberwell, London, he was listed as aged 6 born in Dulwich, the son of Walter URIDGE.⁴ In the census of 31 March 1901 at 50 Southampton Road, St. Pancras, London, he was listed as a Tea Grocer's Assistant working at home, aged 16 born in East Dulwich, the son of Walter URIDGE.⁵
Walter married Edith M. PACKER in 1911 in the St. Pancras registration district.^7,8,2 His wife, Edith, died in 1962 in the Ealing registration district.⁹ Walter's death was registered in 1962 in the Harrow on the Hill registration district.^10,2

She was a Biscuit Packer living at home with her parents and siblings.⁸
Minnie married John George NORTHFIELD in 1907 in the Hampstead registration district.^9,10,4,11
In the census of 2 April 1911 at 36 Achilles Road, West Hampstead, London, she was listed as the wife of John George NORTHFIELD (a Cakemaker, living with his wife Minnie L., and children Walter J. H., "Sydney T"., and Elizabeth L).^11,6 At the time of the birth of their daughter Constance in 1915, Minnie and John lived at Broomsleigh Street, Hampstead, London.¹² Her husband, John, died in 1938 in the Hampstead registration district.^12,13 Minnie was in an undated photograph.¹¹ At the time of her death in 1959, Minnie lived at 37 Broomsleigh Street, West Hampstead, London.¹² Minnie died in 12 January 1959 in the St. Pancras registration district.^12,14

     Emily Sarah URIDGE was born on 28 October 1882 at Sydenham, Kent.^1,2,3,4 She was the daughter of Walter URIDGE and Louisa Jane WOODS.² Emily Sarah's nickname was Emmie.³ She was baptised on 17 December 1882 at Sydenham, Kent.² In the census of 5 April 1891 at 77 Graylands Road, Camberwell, London, she was listed as aged 8 born in Sydenham, the daughter of Walter URIDGE.⁴ In the census of 31 March 1901 at 50 Southampton Road, St. Pancras, London, she was listed as a Servant (Domestic) aged 18 born in Sydenham, the daughter of Walter URIDGE.⁵
Emily married Herbert BROWN in 1908 in the Hampstead registration district.^6,3,7 Emily & Herbert were in a photograph together with their two sons Cyril & Bertram, taken circa 1917.⁸

Research Note: Simon wrote "I have an Edward Trendle born c.1799 in Buckinghamshire whose son Thomas (1830-1892), brother of Joseph, was an ornamental wood carver. So my present assumption is that they come from the Chiltern furniture makers."^14,15
