James appeared on the census of 3 April 1881 at High St Youngs Cot 3, Eynsford, Kent, and was a Road Labourer.¹²
In the census of 5 April 1891 at 30 Eynsford Street, Eynsford, Kent, James was listed as the Head of Household; He was a Roadman Labourer, living with his wife, and their grandson Reginald HEAD.¹³

     Eudora EURIDGE was born in September 1861 at Eynsford, Kent.¹ She was the daughter of James Pettit EURIDGE and Sarah STRINGER.² She was listed in the census of 3 April 1881 at High Croft House, Eynsford, Kent, a housemaid servant to William B. SIVILLE, an Archictect & Surveyor.³
Eudora married Joseph LARTER in 1892 at Dartford, Kent.⁴
In the census of 31 March 1901 at Bower Cottage, Eynsford, Kent, she was listed as the wife of Joseph LARTER (an Agricultural Labourer living with his wife, and two children. They lived at the same address as Eudora's parents.).⁵ As of 1944, Eudora lived at Vine Cottage, Eynsford, Kent. James French EURIDGE's estate was probated to Eudora EURIDGE on 3 May 1944 in Llandudno, Caernarvonshire.⁶

     May Alexandrina EURIDGE was born in 1863 at Otford, Kent.^1,3,2 She was the daughter of James Pettit EURIDGE and Sarah STRINGER.² She was listed in the census of 3 April 1881 at High Street, Youngs Cottages 3, Eynsford, Kent.²

     James French EURIDGE was born in 1866 at Eynsford, Kent.^1,3,4 He was the son of James Pettit EURIDGE and Sarah STRINGER.² James appeared on the census of 3 April 1881 at High St Youngs Cot 3, Eynsford, Kent, and his occupation was Sewer Labourer Land Drain.⁴ At the time of his death in 1944, James French EURIDGE lived at Vine Cottage, Eynsford, Kent.⁵
James died on 3 March 1944 in Epsom, Surrey.^6,7 The 1944 Will index shows: "James EURIDGE of Vine Cottage, Eynsford, Kent Died 3 March 1944 at Epsom Surrey Administration Llandudno 3 May to Eudora LARTER widow Effects £124 0s 6d.⁷" His estate was probated on 3 May 1944 in Llandudno, Caernarvonshire.⁷

     Thomas EURIDGE was born in 1838 at Dartford, Kent.² He was baptised in September 1838 at Eynsford, Kent.^3,4,5,1 He was the son of Thomas EURIDGE and Jane EASTWOOD.¹ In the census of 30 March 1851 at 11 Vicarage House, Eynsford, Kent, he was listed as an Agricutural Labourer, aged 12 born in Eynsford, the son of Thomas EURIDGE.⁶ He was listed in the census of 3 April 1881 at Bull Inn, Church Street, Farningham, Kent, He was an Ostler.⁷

     Emma EURIDGE was born on 8 May 1840 at Eynsford, Kent.^1,4,3 She was baptised on 19 July 1840 at Eynsford, Kent.² She was the daughter of Thomas EURIDGE and Jane EASTWOOD.^2,3 Emma died in infancy, aged 10 months in March 1841 at Eynsford, Kent.⁵ Emma was buried on 20 March 1841 at Eynsford, Kent.⁴

     Louisa EURIDGE was baptised on 24 April 1841 at Eynsford, Kent.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas EURIDGE and Jane EASTWOOD.¹
Louisa EURIDGE was born in 1842 at Dartford, Kent.² In the census of 30 March 1851 at 11 Vicarage House, Eynsford, Kent, she was listed as aged 8 born in Eynsford, the daughter of Thomas EURIDGE.³

His occupation was cowman to Farmer Daniel MANDY.⁷
John married Emma WIMHURST, daughter of Thomas WIMHURST and Mercy SHOEBRIDGE, on 2 June 1867 at The Parish Church, St. George Hanover Square, London. He was a Painter living in Davish? Street; The marriage was witnessed by Walter PAYNE and Sarah WOOD. There were no known children from the marriage.^8,2
In the census of 2 April 1871 at The Round House, Kinnerton Street, St. George Hanover Square, London, William was listed as "William" aged 27 born in Eynsford, the Head of Household; a Carman, living with his wife Emma, and son Harry.^9,10

John married Mary Jane HARE, daughter of William HARE and Ann WHITWELL, on 14 October 1877 at St. Michaels Church, Wood Green, Middlesex. The marriage was witnessed by Emma WARSLEY, and George WIMHURST [his late wife's brother]. He was a Hop Merchant, a Widower aged 34, living in St. Mary Lambeth. His father was listed as Thomas EURIDGE, Bricklayer.^12,1
At the time of the birth of their son William Harry, on 16 March 1880, John and Mary lived at 74 Rockingham Street, Stoke Newington, London. John was a Hop Porter.¹³

John died of Cancer on 9 February 1892 at 25 Edward Street, Horninglow, Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire, at age 48. At the time of his death he was a Brewer's Foreman.^19,20,21

Research Note: In the 1871 census, it details he had a son Harry born in Sevenoaks. This is assumed to be his step-son, Harry WIMHURST born in 1863 in Sevenoaks.^22,9

     Emma WIMHURST was born on 13 April 1841 in Sevenoaks, Kent.^3,2,4 She was the daughter of Thomas WIMHURST and Mercy SHOEBRIDGE.^1,2
Emma witnessed the marriage of her brother William to Mary WOOD on 7 June 1862 at The Parish Church, St. George Hanover Square, London.⁵ Emma was the informant on the death certificate of her father Thomas WIMHURST who died on 23 February 1863 in Sevenoaks, Kent.^2,6 As of 1867, Emma WIMHURST lived at Great Stanhope Street, St. George Hanover Square, London.¹

The death occurred at Burton Infirmary at 6:50 pm yesterday of Mrs Mary Jane EURIDGE aged 82 of 45 Henry Street, Burton who was admitted to the Infirmary on Sunday. She is reported to have received severe leg injuries in a fall at her home on Sunday.^22,23
