      Sarah Ann was also known as Sarah URIDGE.2,3 She was baptized on 12 April 1835 at St. James, Isle of Grain, Kent.3 She was the daughter of Philip URIDGE and Sarah BARTON.2,3,4 In the census of 6 June 1841 at St. James, Isle of Grain, Kent, she was listed as aged 6, assumed to be the daughter of Phillip URIDGE.5 In the census of 30 March 1851 at Home Farm Wall End, St. James, Isle of Grain, Kent, she was listed as a House Servant aged 16 born in St. James Grain, a servant of William KNELL a Baliff.1 Sarah URIDGE emigrated with her parents Philip and Sarah URIDGE née BARTON on 26 May 1851 to New York, New York, USA. She was listed incorrectly as Sarah WRIDGE aged 16 from Ireland.6 Sarah married James TAYLOR on 25 December 1852 at Wayne County, Michigan, USA.2
