Annie Potter GRANT was born on 25 December 1854 in Longfleet, Dorset.1 Annie married Thomas Francis COLE, son of William COLE and Ellen SELLERS, on 29 April 1874.1 At the time of the birth of their son Sydney, Annie and Thomas lived 50 Newport Street, Ryde, Isle of Wight, and he was a Police Constable.2
In the census of 3 April 1881 at 50 Newport Street, Ryde, Isle of Wight, she was listed as the wife of Thomas F. COLE (a Police Constable, living with his wife, two sons and a daughter. Also living with them was a lodger Edward Carter, also a Police Constable from Langton Herring, Dorset.)3

Funeral services for Mrs. Theron H. Goodspeed, jr., 47, Grand Rapids clubwoman who died unexpectedly Saturday night after suffering a heart attack at a dinner party in Holland, were held Monday afternoon at the Metcalf chapel. Very Rev. William T. Reeves, dean of St. Mark's cathedral, officiated. Entombment was in Graceland mausoleum.

"Mrs Owen Uridge Jr. indicated to Phil Dorland 5/5/2015 that Harry Uridge had lost four (4) daughters in 1918 to a flu epidemic and that Owen Jr. was the only survivor? I have not found any records that would verify this. I have records on three daughters (Jane, Mary & Ruth) one of which (Ruth E. Uridge married Theodore Goodspeed) who had a daughter [Mary Jane (Goodspeed) Schaffer]. My parents visited her and her three children when I was a child likely in the early 1960s."12
