     Lucy Sarah CAMPION was born in 1860 in 17 Freeling Street, Islington, London.1,2 She was the daughter of Theron CAMPION and Frances URIDGE.1
In the census of 31 March 1901 at 25 Huddleston Road, Islington, London, she was listed as the daughter of Frances CAMPION.3
Sarah was the informant on the death certificate of her mother, Frances CAMPION who died on 26 November 1902 in 25 Huddleston Road, Islington, London.4,5
In the census of 2 April 1911 at 25 Huddleston Road, Islington, London, Lucy was listed as unmarried, aged 50 born in Islington, the Head of Household; a Dressmaker. Also listed was two Boarders - Victor DYNE, and Leonard DYNE.6
Prior to her death, she lived in 70 Carlingford Road, Tottenham, London, which was the home of the grandparents of Malcom Savage (Arthur Stephen & Annie Louisa Savage). They lived there from 1910 to the late 1980's. They moved in 3 years after their marriage in 1907, and lived there for the rest of their lives.7,8
Lucy died on 6 February 1929 in 70 Carlingford Road, Tottenham, London.1,9,10
Her estate was probated Arthur Stephen SAVAGE on 2 May 1929 in the London Probate Office, London.10

     John CARDEN was baptised on 30 December 1827 at Tonbridge, Kent, His parents were William CARDEN b1792 and Mercy ROOTS, both from Penshurst, Kent.1,2,3,4
John married Mary Ann KIPPS in 1846 in the Westminster registration district.5,4,6
John was listed as the Head of Household in the census of 3 April 1881 at 1 Lancelot Place, Westminster, London, a Furniture Packer, living with his wife, daughter and son. Also lodging with them was John MERRETT, Robert MARTIN and John T. MORRIS. John Merrett is assumed to be a relative of Henry Merritt who later married Harriet.7 In the census of 5 April 1891 he was a neighbour of his daughter and son-in-law, Alfred EURIDGE.5
In the census of 5 April 1891 at 1a Lancelot Place, St. Margaret, Westminster, London, John was listed as the Head of Household; a Retired Packer, living with his wife, son and two grandchildren. His brother James CARDEN aged 60, also born in Tonbridge lived in 3 Lancelot Place.8
His wife, Mary, died in 1895 in the St. George Hanover Square registration district.9,4,10 In the census of 31 March 1901 he was a neighbour of his daughter, and son-in-law, Alfred EURIDGE.1
In the census of 31 March 1901 at 1a Lancelot Place, St. Margaret, Westminster, London, John was listed as the Head of Household; a Retired Packer, aged 73 born in Tonbridge Kent, a widower living with his son, daughter and son-in-law, and grand-daughter.1
John made a will dated 22 March 1907. At the time, he was living at 1a Launcelot Place, Trevor Square, Brompton, Middlesex.4
John died in 1907 in the St. George Hanover Square registration district.11 Reference: In the 1891 census, James CARDEN the younger brother of John CARDEN lived at 3 Lancelot Place, with his wife Jennifer and daughter Minnie. James was the G-G-Grandfather of Terry CARDEN.12,2 Reference: In the 1881 census, a John MERRETT aged 29 born Bernard, Wiltshire was a boarder of John CARDEN. John is assumed to be a relative of Henry MERRITT who later married Harriet CARDEN.7
