Thomas HARE was baptized on 2 March 1851 at Wimblington, Cambridgeshire.1 He was the son of Thomas HARE and Rebecca FISHER.1 Thomas appeared in the census of 3 April 1881 at Wimblington, Cambridgeshire, He was an Agricultural Labourer residing with John GRAVES and his sister Edith GRAVES. His age is younger than his baptism date, however due to this occupation he may have concealed his real age. His aunt Alice HARE married Levi GRAVES.2

Research Note: Clement married Ellen Tindell and they had two daughter, Myra Helen Walder who died in 1940 without issue, and Beatrice Clement Walder, David Pickering's grandmother (d. 1992). Beatrice married Frederick Sydney Pickering. They had three sons, the eldest is Roger (David's father).3
