Jane Elizabeth TRANTER was born in 1830 in Bethnal Green, London.2,3 At the time of her marriage in April 1849, Jane lived at Bethnal Green, London. Jane was a spinster, aged 21.1 Jane married William EURIDGE, son of William EURIDGE, on 16 April 1849 at Bethnal Green, London. Witnessed by ?? Tranter, and James Dredge (his mark). This could have been James Euridge.2,1,4 In the census of 7 April 1861 at Southwark, London, she was listed as aged 31 born in Bethnal Green, the wife of William EURIDGE; a Shoemaker, living with his wife Jane, and sons William and John.3 Jane died of Phlhisis (a respiratory disease accompanied by coughing up blood and fainting) on 31 December 1864 at Southwark, London.5,2 Jane was buried on 6 January 1865 at Woking, Surrey.6

Charles DENGATE was born on 1 April 1827 in Northiam, Sussex.1 He was the son of John DENGATE and Elizabeth QUAIFE.1 Charles DENGATE married Caroline Longley MANSER on 16 October 1847 at Northiam, Sussex, they had 9 children: 1-John (1848-1929), 2-Charles (1850), 3-Louisa (1852-1925), 4-William Longley (1854), 5-Caroline (1856), 6-Richard (1859), 7-Jane (1864), 8-Peter (1864), 9-Alfred (1866).1 Charles died on 30 October 1903 at Northiam, Sussex, at the age of 76.1 Charles was buried on 5 November 1903.1

Philip died on 30 December 1905 at St. Leonards on Sea, Sussex.1 Philip was buried on 1 January 1906 at Hastings, Sussex.1 Philip and Louisa are the grandparents of Albert NYE.1
