Robert WEBB1

Robert WEBB was born on 17 March 1804.1 He was the son of Robert WEBB and Sarah LAMB.1 Robert WEBB emigrated to Sydney, New South Wales, Australia; on the ship "Woodbridge", which left London under the command of Captain Dobson on 6 May 1838, and arrived at Sydney on 15 September 1838.

He travelled with his wife Mary Ann and their four-year-old daughter Elizabeth. Also with David and Caroline WEBB and their children, Charlotte eight, George seven, and William three years old.

Also on board were Caroline's sister Sarah with her husband William BAXTER and their two-year-old daughter Sarah and eleven-month-old son William.1

Robert died on 24 August 1880 at the age of 76.1

John DENGATE was born on 31 March 1848 in Northiam, Sussex.1,2 He was baptized on 2 July 1848.1 He was the son of Charles DENGATE and Caroline Longley MANSER.1 John died on 2 November 1929 at the age of 81.1 John was buried on 7 November 1929 at Northiam Cemetery, Northiam, Sussex.1 Additional information on the ancestors/descendants of John DENGATE, his wife Jane SMITH and their five children is available from Karen Hills, Karen61@btinternet.com.1,2 Additional information on the ancestors/descendants of John DENGATE is available from Lise, lise.leresche@wanadoo.fr.2

Daisy Ada DENGATE was born in 1892 in Peckham, London.2,1 She was the daughter of George DENGATE and Louisa Sarah URIDGE.2,3 In the census of 31 March 1901 at 4 Albert Road, Camberwell, London, she was listed as aged 9 born in Peckham, the daughter of George DENGATE.4
