URIDGE
or EURIDGE is
a very unique name with only 121 instances

database for 2002. This website details
all known current and past occurrences worldwide

There are three main family
groups, originating from branches in Sussex
and Kent.
The latter includes my own family who settled
in Devon. Several
descendants of these branches have emigrated
to Canada,
Australia,
New
Zealand, and the United
States of America.
Detailed narratives
are available and can be easily searched
in the surnames
section, or by searching
the website. Additionally there are
descendancy
charts of the main families available.
You will also find a series of databases
on births,
marriages and deaths, and wills
that are linked to an achive held with the
Guild
of One-Name Studies.
A summarisation of resources
searched together with a list of sources
in the narrative
section, details what records are included
in the One-Name Study. Additionally you
will find What's
New, which provides a chronological
listing of what has recently changed on
the website. There are also lists
available on the website. For example, a
list of people in the 1901 census, or a
list of certificates available.
Additionally, you will
find information on other fellow URIDGE
or EURIDGE researchers. If you would
